Here is the message from president HH:

Greetings friends once again
We concluded the second round of fruitful interactions and deliberations with the Commonwealth envoy Prof. Ibrahim Agboola Gambari and his delegation at Hotel Intercontinental in Lusaka, Zambia.
On our part, we presented what we believe are some of the key issues that the country must address in order to cure some of the ills of the past as we move forward in peace and prosperity based on the respect for the rule of law.
We have always stood for meaningful dialogue as a means to resolving issues affecting our country as that is a prerequisite to focus on the core business of uplifting the welfare of our people.
We were accompanied by senior party officials including Vice-President Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba (GBM), National Chairperson Mutale Nalumango, Secretary General Steven Katuka, Spokesperson Charles Kakoma , Leader of the Opposition in Parliament Jack Mwiimbu, UPND Whip in Parliament Garry Nkombo and Chairman for International Relations Ambassador Mulondwe Muzungu and others.
We once more thank you for your prayers and encouraging messages you keep sending us.
We love you and may God bless you all and good night.
HH

  1. Good going. It would be a grave error and a bad precedent to allow the 2016 Election irregularities and illegalities swept under the Carpet. Just like in Kenya the Petition must be heard so that ECZ,CONCOURT, ECL etc can be held to account. ECL wants to be recognized as a Legitimate President of Zambia and HH and UPND can only recognize ECL after the Petition is heard, determined and the Court declares Lungu winner of 2016 Election and duly elected President. Foreign Observers’s Validation of Lungu’s Presidency is irrelevant. What Lungu needs is a declaration from an Electoral Court in Zambia that he won the 2016 Election and he is duly elected President. Period.

  2. Any thief would be scared to have his house searched it’s exactly wht the pf government is scared of. They know they stole hence the discomfort in having the petition heard. Viva HH!
