Lusaka, 15th April 2019.

About 25 churches under the Kabwata Pentecostal fellowship in Lusaka is expected to receive a share of the k750,000 Presidential empowerment fund which was disbursed in December 2018.

Clement Tembo who is the coordinator for the Presidential Initiative fund disclosed this at a consultative meeting held at the 11th hour ministries in Lusaka.

President Lungu will carry on with the initiative because it was evident that most of the churches have welcomed it, the initiative will also be launched in western province as this was the only remaining province to receive the Presidential empowerment fund.

Mr Tembo further said that all those who have not yet benefited from the Presidential empowerment fund will be attended to as it is an on going project across the national and no one should be left behind.

Speaking at the same event, Bishop Peter Tanda Mulenga of Christian Word Centre intentional who is also chairperson for the Kabwata Pentecostal fellowship said the church in zambia will continue praying for President Lungu.

“we will continue to pray for President Lungu’s good health and wisdom as he continues to govern our nation zambia, we are grateful by the wonderful gesture and we can rest assure you that all benefiting churches will use the resources for the right purpose” Bishop Mulenga said

And fund Manager Samuel Luneta said the love shown by President Lungu was to ensure that a platform of exposure was created for the underprivileged.

The Presidential Empowerment Initiative fund team is next week expected in western province to launch the Fund project in the province.
