3 Lusaka Men Who Stole K1bn From Indo Bank To Take Plea Today
Three Lusaka men who allegedly stole K997, 000 cash from INDO Zambia Bank Crossroads branch will appear in court for plea today.
In this matter, 37-year-old Eugene Zimba of Lusaka, 29-year-old Maybin Kamusuma of Chingola and 43-year-old Bwalya Chongo are charged with one count of breaking into a building and committing a felony.
Allegations are that on September 23, in Lusaka, the accused persons jointly and whilst acting together with intent to steal, broke and entered into the building namely Crossroadd Indo Zambia Bank Limited and stole K997, 876.20 cash, the property of the said bank.
The accused, whose matter was allocated before Lusaka Chief resident magistrate Lameck Mwale, were not able to take plea as one of them was not before court.
The matter comes up for plea today, November 4, 2019.
