CON COURT ARM TWISTED AND THREATENED TO RULE IN FAVOUR OF PRESIDENT LUNGU TO RULE FOR 12 YEARS AS OPPOSED TO 10 YEARS MAXIMUM STIPULATED IN THE CONSTITUTION.

Information reaching our media team makes a sad reading. Probably in the history of the Zambian judiciary this is the most incompetent constitutional court that has ever existed on the face of the earth. Apart from these judges being unqualified, they have delivered the waste judgments ever, from their toothless decisions about Ministers staying in office after dissolution of Parliament to the stupid way of handling the UPND petition and now this straight forward third term matter they are giving lungu.

The Zambian Judiciary is rotten, I think there is something wrong with the way judges are appointed. Lungu had an agenda in the way he recruited these judges and if you have a corrupt president and a corrupt electoral commission and a corrupt judiciary then such a country is finished.

The questions Zambians should be asking is! do we really need this constitutional court? and what purpose has it served to the Zambian people in defending the sacred Law of the land when the very people appointed to defend it are the ones breaking it. Let’s disband this useless organisation created to to only satisfy one man’s ego , I think it’s high time such useless judges start being jailed or made to pay for their sins for deliberately raping the constitution.

We know the delay to pass this judgment was well calculated. PF made sure Linda Kasonde was kicked out of LAZ and PF sponsored candidates to take over LAZ so that we have no sensible voice. I think president Lungu should be ashamed of himself.

All constitutional Lawyers and world renowned experts such as prof.Muna Ndulo has advised Lungu is setting a bad precedence, you cannot rule more than 10 years even arrogant chiluba had to respect the will of the people.

If we want truth and justice to rule our global village, there must be no hypocrisy. If there is no truth, then there will be no equality. No equality, no justice. No justice, no peace. No peace, no love. No love, only darkness.

When people can get away with crimes just because they are wealthy or have the right connections, the scales are tipped against fairness and equality. The weight of corruption then becomes so heavy that it creates a dent that forces the world to become slanted, so much so — that justice just slips off.

The bedrock of our democracy is the rule of law and that means we have to have an independent judiciary, judges who can make decisions independent of the political winds that are blowing.

All the rights secured to the Zambian citizens under the Constitution are worth nothing, and a mere bubble, except guaranteed to them by an independent and virtuous , honest and fare Judiciary, only then can citizens be proud of being protected by law otherwise, those rights are empty promises, because the system doesn’t have an independent judiciary to uphold the rule of law and enforce those rights.
Shame on the concourt and the evil hands behind this judicial assort .
