Currency Circulation Explained
Bank of Zambia says the currency circulation in the country rose from K7.5billion in 2019 to K14billion in 2021 due to relaxation of monetary policies such as over-the-counter cash withdrawals from K25,000.00 to K100,000.00.
Similarly deposits rose from K1.7billion in 2019 to K5billion during the same period.
