The wife to late Former Southern Province minster Daniel Munkombwe, Ann Munkombwe has endorsed President Edgar Lungu’s candidature and all Patriotic Front candidates.
Speaking during the party’s door to door campaign in Batoka ward today ,Mrs Munkombwe said Choma Central Constituency is lagging behind in terms of development because of poor leadership.
Mrs Munkombwe said it is very clear that the Patriotic Front has a development agenda going by what they have done so far.
She said people have been voting for Members of Parliament who only think of themselves and not the people.
Mrs Munkombwe urged the people of Choma and Southern Province at large, should not make another mistake of voting for selfish leaders in office.
Speaking at the same exercise ,wife to former Choma central constituency UPND Member of Parliament George Chazangwe, Agness said Southern Province has been denied a number of opportunities for belonging to the opposition.
Mrs Chazangwe said voting for the PF will bring more development in the area.
She has urged the women of Batoka ward to go out and campaign for the ruling party because they are the majority..
And Choma Central Constituency PF candidate’s Campaign Manager Jackson Makwamba has castigated UPND candidate Cornelius Mweetwa for politicising funerals in the constituency.
Makwamba said the behavior of Mweetwa is a sign of disrespect to the dead.
He said bringing politics to funerals is a sign that the UPND candidate has nothing to give the people.
