The National Private and Public Educators of Zambia says it is saddened that Government has kept Zambians in the dark over the 500 teachers that are to be sent to Madagascar to teach the English Language.

NUPPEZ President Victor Muyumba says it is worrying to see that a directive that came from a high office is not being implemented.

Teaching Service Commission Spokesperson Jane Mbambara says the Commission has not yet agreed on the conditions of service with the republic of Madagascar hence the delay.

Ms. Mbambara adds that the Commission has written to Madagascar through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and is waiting for response.
