Dr. Kambwili Speaks Out on Bill 10!

NDC leader Dr. Chishimba Kambwili has urged President Edgar lungu to withdraw the contentious Bill number 10 that will be tabled in parliament tomorrow.

Dr. Kambwili says the people of Zambia will give respect to President lungu should he withdraw the unpopular Bill that has caused so much public outcry.

Dr. Kambwili has maintained that bill 10 is a law that is not well intended.

And the NDC leader has urged lawmakers to do a self introspection and not support the Bill should Mr. Lungu not withdraw the bill

The NDC leader said this in Lusaka today when he addressed journalists.

He has further appealed to all independent Members of Parliament to vindicate themselves and listen to what the ordinary citizens have said on the much resented bill.

Dr. Kambwili has warned political leaders not to enact laws for selfish and political expediency.

He adds that such laws will only disadvantage them in future.

He has advised Zambian lawmakers to take a leaf from British law makers and Cabinet Ministers on how they voted against the brixit.

Dr. Kambwili said Bill 10 is not good for Zambia and might in bring blood shed for the country in future.

He notes that most of the clauses in the bill do not represent the aspirations of the people of Zambia.
