Former UPND vice president, Geoffrey Mwamba says he would rather retire from politics than go back to the UPND.

Mr. Mwamba who is in the company of President Edgar Lungu on a two days working visit in Northern Province told journalists that even in the unlikely event that the UPND formed government, he would never rejoin the party.

Mr. Mwamba says he faced humiliation in the manner he was treated in the opposition and that it is clear that the UPND national executive did not want him as the entire committee voted him out.
