Patriotic Front Media Director Sunday Chanda says the Zambian people are demanding for answers from Mr. Hakainde Hichilema on how he sold the mines on the Copperbelt not building a house for an Individual with evidence.
Mr. Chanda says whoever advised Mr. Hichilema to publicly announce that he will build a house to anyone with evidence of him selling the mines is ill-tamed.
He says the challenge by Mr. Hakainde Hichilema has just exposed how deceitful, crooked and hypocritical he is because he is failing to build a house for one of his lawyers who was evicted from her house, Martha Mushipe, for failing to pay her rent.
Speaking in an Interview on Saturday, Mr. Chanda said that he was shocked with the leadership of Mr. Hichilema because he did not accept responsibility.
Mr. Chanda has however, challenged Mr. Hichilema to instead state his role he played during the Privatization of the mines.
“We find Mr. Hichilema’s challenge to build a house for anyone with evidence of him selling mines laughable and at the same time regrettable coming from a leader like him. Mr. Hichilema must be accepting responsibility. The Zambian people are not interested in his crookedness anymore, but they want answers on the sale of mines on the Copperbelt that made thousands of Zambian people jobless” he said.
“Mr. Hichilema has showed us how hypocritical he can be, Martha Mushipe, one of his lawyers was evicted from the house for failing to pay rent. Why cant Mr. Hichilema build the house he is talking about for his lawyer? The person who advised Mr. Hichilema to declare that challenge is ill advised. Mr. Hichilema must start providing answers not challenging citizens” he said.
While appearing on Christian Voice Program on Friday, United Party for National Development leader, Hakainde Hichilema, challenged all the 17 million Zambians that if anyone had evidence of him selling mines, Let the person Present the evidence and in return Mr. Hichilema will build a fully furnished three bed-roomed house in Kabulonga
