GOD TOLD ME TO NAME MY CHILD HAKAINDE MALAMA – STANLEY MALAMA
“God said this child will unite the nation and become a symbol of unity between BEMBA’S and TONGA’S. I said God how can I name a girl child Hakainde..? God said use what have given you to fight tribalism & unite my people.
Hakainde Malama is a girl. I never shared the sex of my child in public I only said have named my child Hakainde.
It is not easy to name a girl child Hakainde but always the will of God must be respected and am proud to be called bashi hakainde from kasama.But those who visited my home knows very well that Hakainde is a girl.
God gave me a responsibility to fight tribalism and overturn the narrative that for a child to hold certain positions in Zambia must possess a certain name from a certain tribe and province.
My call is not to wait for anyone to champion the fight against tribalism I must start and others will follow me because it’s a fight worthy fighting. our leaders are not interested in fighting tribalism because they benefit from its evil fruits.
Zambians should know that attacks and tribal discrimination against certain tribes is aimed at destroying our country’s future.
Let this fight be the responsibility of every Zambian to stand up and defend the sanctity of our national unity. We shall not stand by and watch them destroy our peace and unity through tribal hatred and division being peddled by our selfish leaders
The tribal divisions we are being subjected to benefits few individual who feeds on dividing people. They are agents of destruction who’s main agenda is to destabilize our unity and benefit from it.
