THEY WILL BE BURRIED TOMORROW
These five sisters belong to Mr Clatious Mweemba, one man of Shibuyunji. They were burnt to death on Saturday Night in the village after a grass-thatched house they were sleeping in caught fire.
Three of the girls were 17-years-old while the other two are said to have been 15 and 12 years old respectively.
Police spokesperson Esther Mwata Katongo said Clatious Mweemba’s children were asleep in the house on Saturday night when it caught fire. Its has been comfirmed that their parents had gone for a funeral at night when unknown people locked the house from outside to prevent them from running out and set it on fire for reasons not known.
Upon learning about the death of their five children, Mr and Mrs Mweemba fainted and as of yesterday they were still admitted at the nearby hospital.
The deceased girls will be put to rest tomorrow.
May Their Soul Rest In Peace!
