The Police will investgate and arrest all those who were involved in the violence that rocked Sesheke on Friday and Saturday, PF Deputy Media Director Antonio Mwanza has disclosed.
Speaking in sesheke this afternoon when he addressed PF supporters, Mr Mwanza disclosed that UPND President Hakainde Hichilema and the opposition party aspiring MP for Sesheke were also on the police wanted list as they caused violence in Sesheke by attempting to hold a rally in the same district as President Lungu on Friday. He said the only way HH could avoid possible arrest is by considering going into exile.
“He should consider going out of the country and quit politucs since he already has money, then the police will not be going after him as they will be sure that the country will be free of violence without him”. The Ruling Party Deputy Media Director also disclosed that police in Sesheke were holding 78 UPND members arrested on Friday and saturday for rioting.
Meanwhile, Antonio Mwanza has predicted victory for Ruling PF in tommorrow’s Sesheke by-elections and urged PF members to protect votes. Mr Mwanza said once PF wins the seat, they shall be massive development in the district as government is consdering building a railwayline in the province.
