ENOUGH OF PUBLIC THEFT IN PUBLIC DORMAIN. BE ACCOUNTABLE TODAY!
THE Big Tree National Monument which appears on the K50 banknote has received a facelift after undergoing rehabilitation at a cost amounting to K 370,000.
The fig tree, which is locally known as Mukuyu, is located at Kabwe’s Freedom Way square. It attracts a number of visitors who take shelter under its green canopy measuring over 50 meters.
Surely, what was rehabilitated and where is the huge K370 000 used? This is huge moneys that can see a number of orphans housed but today, someone comes after stealing the money that they rehabilitated a tree?
Where is the PF government placing the people of Zambia? For how long will money be corruptly pocketed in individual pockets as we stand to see them building mansions on top of our sufferings?
How then, do you rehabilitate a tree that is kept by God’s mercies? So then, when God protect the tree, PF have to be paid for that? This is shameful indeed!
