National Democratic Congress Dr Chishimba Kambwili has dared the Drug Enforcement Commission to arrest him over drug trafficking against President Edgar Lungu’s associate, Valden Findlay, as he will not stop talking about the ills in Government.

Dr Kambwili says he will not withdraw his allegation of drug trafficking against Mr Findlay who is Lusaka businessmen because the matters are in public domain.

He says the DEC should investigate Mr Findlay instead of intimidating him with arrest.
Dr Kambwili says he is ready for the DEC arrest as he will not stop talking about bad governance in President Lungu’s administration.

On Monday, Dr Kambwili challenged President Lungu to explain the nature of his business association with Mr Findlay as there were allegations of drug trafficking involved.

On Tuesday, President Edgar Lungu said drug trafficking allegations will be investigated.
On Wednesday morning, the Drug Enforcement Commission summoned Dr. Kambwili for interviews at their Lusaka offices.

According to the call out delivered, Dr Kambwili was expected to avail himself at 10:00 hrs.
But Dr Kambwili says he has been given days off on bed rest as he was suffering from Malaria.

DEC deputy public relations officer Kamfusa Manchishi has explained that the interviews will not take place today.
