The constitutional court will today declare President Edgar Lungu as eligible to contest the third term in 2021.
According to sources have disclosed to Zambian Watch that President Edgar Lungu and state house threatened the concourt of chaos should they rule that he is not eligible.
Sources say President Edgar Lungu will be declared as eligible to stand in 2021 despite being sworn in two times.
According to the Zambian Constitution, a President of Zambia can only be sworn in twice as President.
Last year in December, President Edgar Lungu warned the courts that their will be bloodshed should the courts say he is not eligible.
However today the courts will declare President Edgar Lungu eligible to run for a third term. – Zambian Watch
