A member of a suspected gang in Lusaka’s John Laing compound has allegedly been killed by his colleagues.
Charles Mwape in his early 20s was allegedly hacked in the head after a dispute, before his body was set on fire.
Neighbours suspect that after killing Mwape, the gang locked up the house and set it ablaze to cover up crime.
A machete covered with blood stains was discovered on the scene.
Police have since arrested four gang members aged between 19 and 23 to assist with investigations.
Acting Police spokesperson Danny Mwale has confirmed the development to Zambian Watch through a Telephone Interview.
