George 'Chicken' Lwandamina

ZESCO United coach George Lwanda says no team from Southern Province will ever win the Zambian Super League.

Speaking during a post match interview after Zesco defeated Green Eagles in the Transition League final played today at Woodlands stadium , Lwandamina said the Super league trophy only belongs to teams coming Copperbelt and Lusaka.

“The Cup doesn’t belong there (Southern Province). It belongs to Copperbelt and Lusaka.” Said Lwandamina.

  1. We know this page, so you want to escalet this idea into tribal issue. We know your intetion to report this.
    Behave as Zambians.
    Bad intentions. Stop!

  2. MR.LWANDAMINA DON’T BE BIG HEADED TO THINK THAT OTHER PROVINCES CAN NOT WIN THE LEAGUE,AS A SEASONED COACH YOU FAILED TO WIN A CUP AT CONTINENTAL LEVEL ,NO WONDER WE HAD TO HIRE A COACH TO MAKE US WIN AFRICA CUP OF NATIONS.
AT ONE TIME,THERE WAS NO PREMIER TEAM IN SOUTHERN PROVINCE NEITHER WAS ONE IN OTHER PROVINCES BUT BECAUSE OF CHANGE OF TIME ,THERE ARE TWO PREMIER TEAMS IN SOUTHERN PROVINCE AND ONE IN NORTHWESTERN PROVINCE WHICH MEANS THAT ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN.
KINDLY RETRIEVE YOUR STATEMENT SO THAT YOUR REPUTATION IS NOT COMPROMISED.
