The Catholic Diocese of Ndola in the Copperbelt Province has announced the death of its Priest Benedict Ng’andwe after he collapsed at his home in Kitwe.

Bishop Dr. Benjamin Phiri has disclosed that at the time of Fr. Ng’andwe’s sudden death he had been receiving treatment for high blood pressure and diabetes for two weeks.

Dr. Phiri has described the late parish priest as a dedicated man of God who worked in many Catholic Dioceses.

The deceased clergyman was recently elected MISA-Zambia Chairperson at the organization’s Annual General Meeting held two weeks ago in Lusaka.

He was born on tenth February nineteen sixty nine in Chingola District and later on fourth August 2000 he was ordained as a priest and at the time of his death he also served as Chief Executive Officer of Radio Icengelo in Kitwe.
