MONZE UPND – JACK MWIIMBU OR MUTINTA MAZOKA…?

…as Kalomo Central, Dundumwezi remain undisclosed.

Parliamentary hopefuls under United Party for National Development, (UPND) in Monze are keeping their fingers crossed after the party announced 8 out of 18 constituencies in the district.

Chairperson for Elections, Gary NNkombo gave two sets of updates Tuesday afternoon, revealing Cornelius Mweetwa returns to Choma Central Constituency seeking re-election in the 2021 General Elections.

Nkombo also retains Mazabuka Central in what the opposition party describes as an extremely competitive adoption process.

Monze Central had not been cleared by the second round of announcements, despite Nkombo announcing Moomba and Bweengwa returning Fred Chatila and Michelo Kasauta respectively in the district.

Meanwhile, Mbabala Constituency is going to Joseph Munsanje to replace outgoing, Ephraim Belemu – while Clive Miyanda has been dropped in Mapatizya for Emeldah Munashabantu.

Nkombo has said some of the areas have not yet been cleared and the announcement of the results is partial, with regions like Kalomo unannounced.
