Human Rights Activist Brebner Changala says it is unacceptable for Housing and Infrastructure Development Minister Ronald Chitotela to continue occupying office while facing numerous corruption charges.
On Thursday this week, the Anti-Corruption Commission- arrested Mr. Chitotela again and charged him with nine counts of possessing and concealing property suspected to be proceeds of crime
Mr Chitotela was in February this year arrested by the ACC and charged with similar charges.
In an interview with Phoenix News, Mr Changala says the failure by Mr Chitotela to resign from his Ministerial position on moral grounds shows the inconsistencies of the PF government in the fight against corruption.
Further, Mr Changala says the failure by President Edgar Lungu to act on this matter is a serious mockery on the people of Zambia.
