Higher Education Minister Brian Mushimba and his Fisheries and Livestock counterpart Nkandu Luo have not been re-adopted to recontest the Kankoyo and Munali constituencies respectively.
Other ministers who have not been re-adopted are Lands and Natural Resources Minister Jean Kapata, Youth and Sport Minister Emmanuel Mulenga and chiefs and traditional affairs minister Lawrence Sichalwe.
The ruling party has instead adopted Bishop Ed chomba for Kankoyo, Samwimbila Patrick for Munali, Brenda Mwamba for Ndola Central, Christopher Shakafuswa for Mandevu and Tasila Lungu for chawama constituency.
announcing the party`s adopted candidates for parliamentary, mayoral and council chairperson candidates for eastern, copperbelt and Lusaka provinces at mid night, pf secretary general Davies Mwila said the party has also adopted Lusaka mayor Miles Sampa as its candidate for Matero constituency and his Kitwe counterpart Christopher Kang`ombe for Kamfinsa constituency.
