Despite our differences, there’s many areas of common ground and cooperation between the NDC and UPND. We are distinct and separate parties with competing interests, and those interests will clash every now and then.
But we do share a common goal and that is the removal of the corrupt PF government from office.
We interacted very well with our colleagues from the UPND at the Katuba nomination today and we will follow through with our commitment to support them in Katuba.
Both parties will need to come to the table and work out a reasonable way forward.
The last thing we want is for the PF to start profiting from divisions in the opposition.
We can all agree that the prospect of PF coming back to government from 2021 to 2026 would be nightmare, disastrous and totally unacceptable.
