POLICE WARN, CAUTION DR SAMPA FOR INCITING DOCTORS

Police have warned and cautioned Resident Doctors Association of Zambia President Brian Sampa for allegedly inciting his members.

Dr Sampa, 34, whose residence is indicated as Ngwayi village, Chief Kopa in Mpika District and also of Lusaka South is accused of ‘Inciting persons employed in the provision of essential services contrary to section 107 subsection (5) and (7) Chapter 269 of the Industrial and Labour Relations Act of the Laws of Zambia.

According to Police spokesperson Esther Katongo, this is alleged to have occurred between 12th May, 2021 and 1st June, 2021 in Lusaka.

Ms Katongo says Police have continued to investigate the incitement allegations.

On its part, Government has dismissed Dr Sampa from the public service.
