One of the challenge of a new year is the ability to accept a new year as new especially that when the only change that take place in a year is the change of a last number.
If the year is 2016, it changes to 2017. Therefore, no significant conscious or tangible change that take place. This has always being the biggest challenge that people face to accept if the New Year has arrived or not.
This year is not different from other years the only change is the number from 2016 to 2017. We the people remain the same.
It’s in this regard that I would like to encourage you as you read this article to begin to look at yourself and see what could change and make you remarkable in the year 2017. One of the things that you could do this year is to rebrand yourself so that you stand out as a star.
Rebranding is the word that corporate world use whenever they embark on the new strategy. Rebranding is a marketing strategy in which a new name, term, symbol, design, or combination created to established a brand with the intention of developing a new, differentiated identity in the minds of consumers, and other stakeholders. Often, this involves radical changes. Rebranding typically aim to reposition the company, occasionally to distance itself from negative connotations of the previous branding, or to move the brand upmarket; they may also communicate a new message a new board of directors wishes to communicate.
Rebranding can be applied to new products, mature products, or even products still in development. The process can occur intentionally through a deliberate change in strategy or occur unintentionally from unplanned, emergent situations.
Even as a person you can rebrand yourself so that you look differently and succeed this year. As you aim high this year focus on the area that positions you in the best light. You could be a person who think prospective employers would not value your contributions because of long gap in traditional employment. If you will rebrand yourself to lead with accomplishments, you will find yourself on demand.
The other thing that is important this year is for you to focus on where you want to go, not what you’ve been doing. Look at the matters that are going to add value to you and make you a great corporate giant or an important person in your community.
Begin to command your destiny if you want to progress very fast in what you do. Values your destiny and see how best you could create value that would make sure you are the person that matter.
Lastly expand your network to broaden your brand. Sometimes people who have known you for a long time have trouble seeing you in a new way. You were always a failure, so they can’t see you succeeding. This is understandable you are changing, and they are not. Get some new friends! Seriously, you don’t have to drop the old ones, but if you’re serious about re-branding yourself in a specific way, broaden your network to new people who never knew the old you and don’t have to be convinced.
As you rebrand yourself learn to promote yourself at all cost. All corporate brand promote themselves to succeed in order to compete favourably. There are no people out there that are dedicated to promote you until you succeed. They can only cheer you up but it’s your responsibility to promote yourself until you achieve your goals.
So this year rebrand yourself so that you succeed in your goals and achieve your destiny.
