REUBEN LIFUKA PREDICTS THAT THERE IS A LIKELIHOOD OF THE AUGUST POLLS GOING FOR A SECOND RUNOFF.

Governance consultant, Reuben Lifuka has predicted that there is a likelihood of the august polls going for a second runoff.

Mr. Lifuka says the 2021 general elections will not just be a two horse race between the ruling patriotic front and opposition United Party for National Development [UPND] but with other new political parties.

Mr. Lifuka feels the Socialists party led by Fred M’membe and Harry Kalaba of the Democratic Party could get a health percentage.

He has explained to Qtv news in an interview that if any of the 14 political parties other than the UPND could get more than five percent of the votes, then it is likely that the country will go for a run-off.
