Republican President Edgar Lungu has put speculation to rest that he has reconciled with former Minister of Information and Broadcasting Services Chishimba Kambwili.
The President said this at State House in Lusaka this afternoon where he hosted the media at a rare press conference.
President Lungu clarified this following what was touted as a reconciliation between him and his former minister by Catholic Priest Fr. Charles Chilinda of St Ignatius Catholic Parish in Lusaka during a memorial service for late Republican President Michael Sata late last month.
Fr. Chilinda was seen forceably embarrassing the two leaders into an awkward handshake which they have now both dismissed as an act of reconciliation.
