KIZZY MOONGA DUMPS UPND, APOLOGIES TO LUNGU, PF FOR EMBARRASSING THEM
Embattled Mazabuka Central Constituency Aspiring candidate Kizzy Moonga popularly known as “Rocky 7 ” has with immediate effect resigned from the UOND.
Speaking during a media briefing Friday morning at his residence, Moonga says he is no longer available to the UPND and has since pledged to work with any political party that will appreciate his value.
Moonga who claimed that he is popular accused the opposition United Party for National Development of not valuing him and his contribution to the party.
Moonga also accused UPND spokesperson Cornelius Mweetwa who earlier challenged him to resign from the UPND of not valuing him.
Meanwhile, Moonga has apologized to President Edgar Lungu and the ruling Patriotic Front (PF) for embarrassing them by rejecting their adoption.
Earlier this week, the PF adopted Moonga as their Parliamentary candidate for Mazabuka Central.
However, Moonga claimed that he had applied for adoption under PF and hence reluctantly declined the adoption.
Efforts to get a comment from UPND Spokesperson Cornelius Mweetwa failed by press time as his telephone went unaswered
