PF ‘RECONCILIATORY’ TURNS VULGAR AFTER KALEMBE IS NOT ACCORDED ‘RESPECT’

What was termed to be a reconciliatory meeting between two rival PF factions turned vulger after cadres noticed that Nathan Phiri did not accord Lusaka youth chairman Daniel Kalembe the respect he ‘deserved’.

Phiri is a PF cadre Kalembe is accused of assaulting.

He is also accused of assaulting another cadre Innocent Kalimanshi.

The Daily Revelation reports that after the case was adjourned, party lawyer Tutwa Ngulube initiated a reconciliation between Phiri and Kalembe.

But cadres hailed insults at Phiri who was ealier clobbered during this year’s Youth Day Celebrations at the Freedom Statue.

The cadres told Phiri that they were going to beat him again because of his bad behavior and lack of respect for their chairperson.

The cadres were at court to offer solidarity to Kalembe.

There was heavy police presence at the court premises to prevent the two fuctions from fighting.

Ealier, the assault case which Kalembe went to court for, was adjourned to another day, because the witnesses were not available.
