UPND RUNS OUT OF IDEAS BY INSULTING CHITIMUKULU- CHIEF CHIKWANDA
Chief Chikwanda of Mpika has doubted the origin of some disloyal Bemba subjects who are insulting the Mwine Lubemba Paramount Chief Chitimukulu Henry Kanyanta Manga Sosala II.
UPND Deputy Secretary General Patrick Mucheleka five days ago told Daily Revelation, a prominent online publication, that the Chitimukulu had sold out the Bembaland for endorsing Prof. Luo as President Edgar Lungu’s Runningmate.
Chief Chikwanda said it was pure nonsense for UPND which has run out of ideas to attack Mwine Lubemba instead of highlighting it’s manifesto.
The Traditional Leader said the PF was the only party that unveiled its Runningmate to traditional leaders because it respects traditional authority while other Runningmates were only heard of through social media.
He said the Chitimukulu’s blessing of Prof. Nkandu Luo as President Edgar Lungu’s Runningmate was representative of all Bemba Chiefs.
The Traditional Leader said Bemba Chiefs were highly respected because the Bemba Royal Establishment had a system of communication across the region to control all subjects which meant that no one could insult chiefs.
He said the Paramount Chief Chitimukulu, who is Supreme, communicates effectively before voicing out to the public after agreeing with traditional leaders in totality.
Chief Chikwanda said Bemba Chiefs embraced the selection of Vice President Inonge Wina as Runningmate in 2016 and had no issues with the selection of Prof. Luo calling for issue based campaigns among political parties.
