FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: WE ARE MDC AND PROUD MEMBERS OF THE ALLIANCE
It has come to our attention that there is an article doing rounds on social media suggesting that MDC is not part of the Upnd Alliance and the statement is attributed to me.
In the same posting, it is suggesting that myself and other members of the MDC where shocked only to see President Mutati been paraded before cameras suggesting that MDC was part of the Upnd Alliance minus consulting us.
I want to dispute this article by these enemies of progress with the utmost contempt and condemnation it deserves. MDC is very much part of the Upnd Alliance and our NEC members led by our Party Vice President Mr Leonard Hikaumba were present at the launch and I was Co-MC along side Hon Sylvia Masebo at the said function, so how can I be shocked to see on TV a function I attended and directed?
Such cheap propaganda is taking you enemies of democracy, good governance and progress nowhere. You accused the SDA church, they refuted your claims. Then you accused Apostle Imakando of Bread of Life, he too rubbished your claims. And now you are accusing me, what a shame and sign of desperation.
I urge your Political party to think twice if you bunch of childish amateurs calling yourselves a media team can win them an election using lies and cheap propaganda.
We are the MDC and a proud member of the Upnd Alliance, the in coming Government.
