POLICE have formerly charged and arrested State Counsel Mutemwa Mutemwa for theft while detective chief inspector Mano Kayombo has been arrested for theft by public servant.
Police spokesperson Rae Hamoonga said the duo had been detained in police custody and would appear in court soon.
Hamoonga said this was in connection to the theft of US$800,000 belonging to Lloyd Chinjenge of house number 2415 ibex hill Lusaka.
He said this occurred on October 19 at Chinjenge’s other residence in Salama Park.
The duo was reportedly on the run and it is not clear how it was apprehended.
